Pierogi (also perogi, perogy, pirohi, piroghi, pirogi, pirogen, piroshke or pyrohy), from the Proto-Slavic "pir" (festivity) is the name most commonly used in English speaking areas to refer to a variety of Slavic semicircular (or, in some cuisines, square) stuffed dumplings of unleavened dough and varying ingredients. Their specific origins are unknown; though they have strong ties to Slavic culture, similar foods occur in many cultures across Europe and Asia.

A Family owed and operated business since 2002!
There really is a Pinkowski family behind the name of these delicious Polish treats. Irene & Florean Pinkowski, and it was there original pierogies recipe that launched this successful business back in 2002 when grandson and business entrepreneur, Tom Pawlak III decided to make his family tradition enjoyable to all for so many years to come.
Throughout his early childhood, Irene & Florean's grandson, Tom, grew up watching his mother Irene making pierogies around the holiday seasons for there family. It wasn't until he was in his mid 20's, that Tom realized this Polish specialty had a wider appeal then just his family occasion and decided to start his own business churning out pierogies by the millions from his hometown in Buffalo, New York.
Pinkowski Pierogies are packaged in 6ct for retail convenience stores, consumers and supermarkets, and larger sizes of 200ct cases for club and food service establishments. PAWLAK FOODS has no problem supplying a small family dinner or large U.S. Military commissaries all around the world.
